The Meaning Behind Our Name
The name Potters Field Ministries is a combination of two powerful images: the Potter’s Wheel and the Mission Field. On the Potter’s Wheel, clay is shaped, refined, and perfected by the potter’s skilled hands. This is a vivid picture of how God works in our lives—molding us, refining us, and preparing us for His purposes. The Mission Field represents the world, where God sends us to proclaim the gospel and serve those in need. Together, these two images capture the essence of our work: lives transformed by God’s touch, sent out to impact the nations.
The Potter and the Clay
At the heart of Potters Field Ministries is the unique gifting of Pastor Mike Rozell. As a skilled potter, Pastor Mike Rozell uses his craft to bring the gospel to life in a tangible way. Serving faithfully alongside her husband is Pam Rozell. Known for her heartfelt singing, writing, and storytelling, Pam Rozell brings the gospel through music and testimony. Her personal story of God’s redemption and the way He brought her and Pastor Mike Rozell together as a ministry team has encouraged countless people to trust God’s plan for their lives.

Potters Field Ministries is active in multiple nations, with a strong presence in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Congo), Cambodia, and Guatemala. In each country, our mission work is rooted in three core areas:
- Sponsorship– Providing education, food, clothing, and discipleship to tens of thousands of children.
- Church Planting– Establishing communities of faith where believers can grow and reach others.
- Feeding Programs– Nourishing both the body and soul, feeding tens of thousands of children and families.
Wherever we go, we combine meeting practical needs with proclaiming the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ. The result is not only changed lives but transformed communities.
