One of the ways that Potter's Field Ministries (PFM) is transforming lives around the world is through our Potter’s Field Kids (PFK) programs. PFM partners with local Bible-believing and teaching churches in our international locations to co-labor in the lives of children. After working for 13 years with one of the largest child sponsorship organizations in the world, Pastor Michael and Pam Rozell combined a wealth of education with a depth of personal relation to establish the ministry model they felt most adequately captured the heart of PFM. It wasn’t enough for them to just share the Gospel, feed and clothe the kids, and make sure they had a roof over their heads. Pastor Michael and Pam wanted to be able to see the children eye to eye, face to face, and heart to heart. What would have been an impossibility to create alone, God has been able to build through the individual efforts of many.
While touring the over 800 churches the Rozells have visited in the last 20 years, they have simply made known the opportunity to lock arms and make a difference. From the rich relationships built over their years in ministry, the Rozells have been able to easily find trustworthy international pastors with whom to co-labor because they are missionaries sent by the churches that Potter’s Field Ministries visits on tour. The young men and women who come to our IGNITE Mission Training School to be equipped for a six month term of service in the international locations are also sent from those churches. And the men and women who sacrificially give their monthly support of $20 towards the ministry are also from those churches.
Through the efforts of many, we have been able to accomplish a great deal more than we could ever have done alone. We hope you enjoy seeing what God can do when we unite for the common goal of bringing Him glory.
In each PFK location, we work closely with the local pastors and churches, evaluating the most effective way of sharing the love of God with the children in that community. The goal of PFK is to provide spiritual and physical nourishment to each child by reaching out to them with the truth of God’s Word, nutrition, education, and the hope of Christ shown through loving vessels. Every Potter’s Field Kids program is creatively tailored to touch each child in a way that is personally and culturally relevant. While each program is unique by location, below you will find several outreach formats used in PFK.
After School Programs & Homework Clubs
These programs are a safe, Christ-centered environment providing opportunities for homework assistance, snacks and meals, physical activities, the teaching of God’s Word, and one-on-one discipleship. In some locations, additional academic education is given as well. Through the PFK after school programs around the world, not only have we seen many children give their lives to the Lord, but many of their families have been encouraged to attend a local Bible study as well.
Often meeting weekly, these programs follow an AWANA-style format, centering on games, activities, discipleship, and academic assistance around Bible memorization. Snacks or meals are provided and children get to participate in recognition ceremonies, receiving rewards upon completion of the curriculum and Scripture memorization.
Schools & Scholarship Support
Many children in PFK locations are unable to attend school for various reasons. In some locations, PFK helps to fund elementary schools which provide unschooled children with a quality Christian education. This is done by using the Bible as one of the main educational tools, supplemented by other specific teaching aides and curriculum. Additionally, scholarship programs in certain locations facilitate the funding for children to attend local private schools.

afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your
darkness shall be as the noonday... and you shall be called the Repairer
of the Breach, the Restorer of the Streets to Dwell in." Isaiah
