The sponsors of Potter’s Field Ministries take an active role in feeding
the hungry through our Potter's Field Orphanage and Potter’s Field
Kids afterschool and literacy programs. Our Orphanage is located in
San Martin, El Salvador, and is home to many precious boys. These
little ones are provided with a Christ-centered home, fostering an
environment where they can safely grow into the men that God has
called them to be. With loving house parents, each boy receives the
time and attention necessary for healthy spiritual and physical
development, including daily nutrition.
The
Potter’s Field Kids programs, in locations such as Central America,
Africa and Southeast Asia, provide the opportunity to supply such
things as nutrition and medical care to the children who attend.
Included in some locations is an agricultural component which also
allows us to minister to the childrens' families through providing
education, instruction and resources to increase their quality of
nutrition and help them to provide for themselves.
The
Lord has graciously provided the opportunity for several Potter’s
Field Kids programs to assist in feeding the hungry. In each
location, we are working closely with local churches, and new areas
are consistently being explored.
